  • Lead the Fleet Unit in Djibouti which serves Djibouti-Ethiopia Corridor for overland transportation to different locations in Ethiopia.
  • Oversee the warehouse Operation in Djibouti Humanitarian Logistics base which serves more than 20 UN and NGO agencies. The HLB provides Food, NFI, Silo Bulk and cold chain storage service.
  • Spearhead the first Rail transport operation from Djibouti to Ethiopia contributing for green logistics.
  • Developed further improvements in Logistics procedures (SOP) and KPIs for Port operation, Warehouse and Transport operation.
  • Coordinate with different internal and external stakeholders including donors, Government partners and vendors to improve the supply chain activities.
  • Act as WFP Focal point for the USAID/BHA Prepo Hub in Djibouti. This involves coordination with BMMI (warehouse operator), superintendents, downstream country's, RBN, USAID/BHA, etc
  • Coordinate different transport modes in Djibouti (Sea / Air / Road / Rail) and provide proposals to the HoSC on areas of improvement and new opportunities.
